Questions about this tool
Does a matching MOS code establish my official test standard?
The lookup shows whether a code appears in the Army’s published combat-specialty list. It does not inspect your assignment, personnel record, or unit instructions. A match is useful for planning the 350-point standard; confirm the applicable requirement with your chain of command before treating it as an official determination.
When did the published combat requirement begin?
The Army implementation dates are January 1, 2026 for the active component and June 1, 2026 for Army National Guard and Army Reserve combat specialties. The tool uses the published list and those dates as reference information. It does not determine whether an individual has a current exception.
What does an unmatched specialty search mean?
An unmatched search means the text does not match the archived combat list. It does not prove that the entered code is a valid general-standard specialty. Check spelling, the complete MOS or AOC, and your assignment. The Army AFT calculator permits a manual standard selection when your unit supplies the applicable requirement.
Is the combat requirement the same for every age?
The minimum total is 350 and each event requires at least 60 points. Performance thresholds remain age-normed within the male scale. Consequently, two Soldiers in different age groups can earn the same points for different raw performances. Use the corresponding age column rather than a single universal raw-performance target.
